I almost forgot about the game since Michigan is headed to the NIT.

I didn't expect to see Michigan come out swinging. Considering what this game means to both teams, I at least expected some real back and forth. I'm shocked. And happy.

I just want to congratulate coach Martelli for his remarkable show of restraint in the handshake line. No punches thrown. No shoving. No cussing.

I want to congratulate midget Ted Lizzo on not getting aggressive with one of his players when his team was getting its ass kicked.

Marv Teller looked like a douche though.

Looking forward to a good rubber match in the Big 10 tournament. As of now, I don’t see Michigan in the big dance sadly. :(

They/them, non-binary and proud.

I do. I think they are one win away from being solidly in. Beat Iowa tomorrow and you're dancin'.

I think U-M, if they get to 19 wins (meaning defeating Iowa, OSU plus a Big Ten tournament opponent), will definitely get a nod and would probably be no lower than an 8 seed. If they wind up with only 18 wins, then it gets a little dicey. I think under that scenario they'd likely be one of the last four in at worst (more likely a 10 seed). I'm not sure 17 wins gets the job done, but with the Big Ten being so cutthroat this year, it might just work (they could be one of the last four in vying for an 11 seed).

Too bad the team was total trash in the first half of the season. They've played better in the second half.

Michigan has been very Jekyll and Hyde since blowing the doors off of Purdue on 2/8. Win one, lose one. If that trend continues, they'll beat ohio state and lose in the first round of the BTT.

I laughed at the syrupy sports beat writer articles after that Purdue win. It was one friggin game.

I agree with your prediction. If they split those next two games, I'm not sure they get in.

Honeyman is right; neither team will do a damn thing in the postseason other than maybe winning a couple early round games.

So far, the prediction is holding true. Nice comeback victory against the Buckeyes!

Michigan looked so much better defensively today. Not sure of its because of Martelli, or that Dickenson was out.
