Any objective observer knows this.

What's more pathetic: harassing an old man who is paying to do a radio show or supporting a grifter like Trump?

Wal-Mart? I'm fairly certain Matt is a Michigan grad.

I'm neither a fan of Michigan nor MSU. I'll bandwagon-watch either team if they're doing good, but other than that, I could care less how either team does.

That said, I did watch most of the game last week and I think that the U of M fans complaining about bad officiating are way over-exaggerating the alleged poor quality of the calls in the game.

The one egregious call I did see was yesterday against MSU - fairly late in the game what should have been a simultaneous possession and thus first and goal for MSU got called as an INT the other way.

I thought it was a bad call too. But if Reed runs a better route and/or Thorne puts more zip on the ball, it isn't left up to the refs. MSU gave up 500+ yards passing....they deserved to lose that game.

The only game I can really say the refs decided was that Rams-Saints playoff game a few years ago when an ultra obvious PI was not called very late in the game. If it was, New Orleans could have run out the clock and kicked a game winning field goal.

But to blame a call in the 2nd quarter like Matt is absurd. Michigan later had a 16 point lead that they gagged by being completely out-played in the 4th quarter. Seems like every sensible UM fan on this site knows it too. You sure don't see MW, Craig, or others coming to Matt's defense on this thread, huh? Michigan lost that game. MSU beat 'em. As we usually do. 10 of the past 14.

Any idea why they didn't so much as review it? Real-time I thought it might have been simultaneous, and then the replay showed it clearly was - that he knee was down well before the ball was stripped.

Here's what Mel said, "They told me that it wasn’t a tie. They told me that the defense really won that down. He had more of the ball than we did, and that was the call that they made."

A 20 point game is a GIANT difference.

Other than the negated touchdown in the first half what else are you talking about.

For me I don't blame officials unless the call, made or unmade directly changes the outcome by coming LATE in the 4th quarter. So late the losing team had no opportunity to overcome it.

Tough to follow along with Matt's convoluted, ridiculous, completely UM biased logic, but I'm gonna try.....

I think he's saying if the call wasn't overturned, completely ignoring the fact that refs have the replay capabilities to string all the angles together to make the correct call that Michigan would have had 4 more points. So his point appears to be, it is perfectly understandable for his beloved boys to gag a 16 point lead, but they never would have completely choked on a 20 point lead...which would have meant overtime....unless MSU tried another 2 point conversion....like they were already successful 2 out of 2 times. But of course, in Matt's mind, Michigan would have prevailed in overtime, especially since they were playing such stellar, dominant football at the end of the game.

He will never grasp how pathetic he sounds or what a complete fool he makes of himself with these childish rants :lol

I don't think one can assume even if the call went in our favor everything after would have been exactly as it was after that.
For starters we would have kicked off and maybe MSU runs the kickoff back for a touchdown. Maybe a key player gets hurt on either team during the MSU possession after the kickoff.
Point is everything after could have been different.
