Fuck me in the goat ass. I was trying to be generous! 😂

8 games. That's even worse for Orlando!

For shame, Magic.

For. Shame.

Charles Barkley on TNT was right in calling out the Pistons players for being lazy and for not competing far too often this season.

He was dead wrong, however, in absolving Dwayne Casey from blame. Casey's lineups have stunk...the team played better when the bench was loaded with guys on 10-day or two-way contracts...and his players do not play fundamentally sound basketball all too often.

Just thought I'd mention Donovan Mitchell is averaging 26 points a game this season, including 88 percent shooting from the charity stripe.

Dipshit Van Gundy just had to draft Luke Fucking Kennard instead. Unbelievable.

In another move reminiscent of getting Thon Maker a couple years ago, we're getting 7'-2" Sudanese power forward Bol Bol in a trade with the Nuggets. At least he's tall. :razz
Well, that didn't last long. :?

The Pistons are 5-5 in their last 10. Do posts only happen when they look terrible?

They have a foundation to build on.

No, the Bucks have a foundation to build on. The Pistons have a better than average coach with a bad GM and cheap owner that has a team filled with garbage players.

Yeah, I've definitely have lost quite a bit of confidence in Troy Weaver's abilities. The trade he made this past week for Marvin Bagley III was a stupid move. He also is responsible for drafting Killian Hayes, which may prove to be the team's second worst use of a lottery pick since Darko. (Stanley Johnson gets #1 honors for worst lottery draft pick by a Pistons GM since Darko.)

Where I disagree is that Dwane Casey is a "better than average" coach. I've seen zero sign of that. Would it kill the guy to pull players off the floor or use a timeout when one or more of his players are repeatedly making bad decisions out on the court? I happen to think he is a lousy coach.

I think Gores is looking to keep making sure the Pistons tank until he can move the team elsewhere.

I doubt that he has any desire to move the team. He has roots in SE Michigan.

Might he sell his ownership stake someday to a different party who would then apply to move the team? Sure.

I don't think he's cheap at all. He poured a ton of money into modernizing The Palace and also spent big money (foolishly) on Blake Griffin.

Don't look now, but the Pistons are 5-2 in their last seven games after losing eight in a row. Just like last season, the team is starting to gel as the season winds down. Part of the recent upsurge coincides with Killian Hayes being supplanted in the starting line-up. I just looked at his per-game stats and he's averaging under six points a game! Hardly what one expects from a lottery pick, but he's still only 20 years old.

Dwayne Casey seems to be the perfect coach for this team.

This team is still hot garbage.

In contrast to Killian Hayes, I've seen substantial development in Cunningham's game. My confidence in Cunningham's upside has improved significantly compared to, say, 45 days ago. Without question, he is a top 3 rookie in the league this season.

As for Dwane Casey (there is no "y" in his first name, I've finally learned), he still stinks. His coaching prowess was on full display when the Wizards outscored the Pistons in an 18-0 run in the 4th quarter of a recent game, a game that the Pistons wound up losing by a few points. He sat Cunningham, Bey and Grant for too long.
