I always found it odd that he stayed out of coaching for so long after being fired in Tampa. Would not surprise me if other teams who considered him as a candidate uncovered similar problems during their due diligence.

Keyshawn Johnson on the ESPN Radio morning show (simulcast on ESPN2) this morning said it would not be at all out of character for Gruden to talk negatively behind one's back and more-or-less described the guy as weasel. Of course, those two never got along. However, it now appears as if Johnson had good reason for not liking the guy when he played in Tampa.

I hear he already has a new gig lined up....

All of these emails were AFTER Gruden was unceremoniously fired from the Bucs so the prize that is Raheem Morris didn't get swapped up by another franchise.
