Disagree moldy.....I think it'll be a Lie-down shitshow. Bet the Packers large at -10 1/2 and expect to have the spreadcovered well before halftime.

Packers win 35 - 17. Guess the Lions did NOT show up whatsoever.

The team laid a turd against a bad Packers team. It's exactly the type of joke I thought it would be.

Next, Baltimore Ravens at Ford Field on CBS (NOT FOX) & the Lions will be 0 - 3.

No worries though. Its Oktoberfest at Ford Field. Get absolutely blitzed like Goff will be. :lol

On that last point, hope you didn't bet as such. :P

A tale of two halfs with the Lions up at halftime; it was an actual game with our fair team playing mostly mistake-free football. Then as the second half unfolded.... :rolleyes

We lost another CB as rookie Ifeatu Melifonwu went down, he was actually playing quite well. The extent of his thigh injury is undetermined at this time. Our linebackers are still slow in coverage; expect teams to exploit that going forward. Also expect to see more of rookie LB Derrick Barnes...a LOT more!

Sounds to me like they are having problems with execution. Somebody needs to be executed.

While not entirely the same thing, pricy veteran LB Jamie Collins, a free agent signing of the previous Quintricia regime, has been banished from the team and openly shopped to the rest of the league. Rookie Derrick Barnes and veteran special teams specialist Jalen Reeves-Maybin will be stepping up to replace him.

:rollin :rollin :rollin Yep, Bobby Layne is still in the house!

I said right before the kick: "Are you ready for another Tom Dempsey moment?"

Same score as the Dempsey game too. 19-17

I rarely say the Lions truly got robbed, but today they got robbed. They earned that win and had it taken away by a BLATANT missed delay-of-game penalty (by 2 full seconds) and then a kick so long it has never been made in the history of the NFL.

This is the first time in years that I can honestly say I feel genuinely bad for the players and coaches on the team.

I love it!!!!

That missed in bounds tackle opportunity on 3rd down came back to bite the Lions in the ass x 100. The carrier managed to get out of bounds, which set up that big 4th down completion.

SAME OLD LIONS!!!!

As I said several years back, the Lions playing football (and being a Lions fan) is an exercise in futility. :)

And yes, the refs did screw them on the missed delay of game call. Gotta play above the officiating. It is possible the CBS timer was out of sync with the official timer, too.

It was the combination of the missed call and then to have a NFL-record 66 yarder bounce over the crossbar. I mean, what were the statistical odds of him making that kick? 5 percent? MAYBE 10 percent?

There is only one football team that could have lost in that way. ONLY the Detroit Lions.
