45 players unavailable at least - that is hardly waving a white flag.
Excuse me, but the 45 number is dubious at best -- certainly not the number for the virus alone. If UM has other players out because of injury or opting out, that's the Wolvies' problem.

Not only UM not release any numbers of Covid cases during its little media show on Tuesday, its doctor admitted UM was under the Big Ten threshold for cases to create an automatic cancellation.

UM's cowardice and image-consciousness are the reasons the OSU game isn't being played. UM will get no pity from anyone else in the country ... and just wait until the Buckeyes storm into AA next November.
I wonder whose side you’re on?

What a bunch of cowards. Just suck it up and take your loss like men, boys. This team is at the point where they need to start earning respect. It's not the 90s anymore, and even then they only won a single national championship. Simply pathetic.

1. Indiana lost to OSU on the field
2. Indiana lost their starting QB to a torn ACL (he played in the OSU game)

BREAKING: Big Ten expected to revoke six-game minimum, making Ohio State eligible for conference title game

Can we all agree that every single move made by the Big Ten this past year and the teams within it has been based purely on school politics and not on Covid concerns?

Yes and no. If wanting that buck so we’ll do this whole thing in person counts as politics then yes.

And now Jimmy cancels a sure blowout at Iowa.

Valenti: "Lecture everybody about how good your protocols are, and how dumb everyone else is. Then smuggly invite people to observe how you're doing it, because you have no issues and how you won't cower to the virus. Have your coach go protest about how badly he wants to play, then the minute you have a Covid issue, not only do you not play 1 game, you don't play a 2nd, and now you're not going to play a 3rd. Well than how good are your protocols now Spank? How good are they? You want to lecture everybody again? Nobody's had a problem like you!"

This aged well: https://mobile.twitter.com/chengelis/st ... 94341?s=20

Harbaugh is such a pile of shit. "LET'S PLAY!" Then he realizes his team is as bad as Purdue, so all of a sudden, all his players are sick despite his "tremendous protocols". Who cannot see thru this? Too bad OSU didn't get them...it they might have put up a hundred.

I could challenge a lot of the other things you've said, but I am going to call out the most egregious statement: Rainer Sabin is NOT a Michigan lackey. This is akin to stating that Bidet is a genius.

I stand corrected,, you are right. I remembered reading a glowing article about Joe Milton, but when I went to find it, I saw some of his criticism about Jimmy and the program.

I wonder if, in addition to the COVID issues, there are a lot of physical injuries and/or players that have quit

Don't they have a JV team that they can draw from? Sorry, the JV team has been playing the last 8 weeks.
