Gotta love this patronizing headline from the Detroit News:

"Harbaugh lauds 'gutty' McNamara, but UM falls to Penn State"

Pathetic. How about "U-M suffers embarrassing defeat at the hands of previously winless Penn State." That would've been my headline choice.

So sick of Angelique and others at both the News and Freep towing the company line for U-M's mediocre QBs!!!

I’m just tired of the program in general and tired of not searching out top head coaching talent Michigan grown or not and winning no matter what it takes.

They thought they had it. The prodigal son coming home. Not to mention, Harbaugh had a pretty good track record. He built SD and Stanford programs up, and took SF to a Super Bowl. For a myriad of reasons, this failed. Problem is Michigan administration and their fans think their program is elite, and it is nothing close.

Hasn’t been elite in a while.

In a lionesque move Michigan has extended Harbaugh through 2026.

2025: https://mgoblue.com/news/2021/1/8/manue ... baugh.aspx

This was the only option, and I am pleased. I'll expand later or tomorrow.

Garbage move. I thought for sure Michigan football would make a change. They are done. We are a basketball and baseball school now.

I was hoping that the Chargers were going to offer Jim the job to be their next head coach or another NFL team not named the Lions.
