Dickie V. was very complimentary of the Wolverines' performance today - repeatedly referring to them as a "legitimate top 10 team" during a good chunk of the 2nd half of today's game.

He also picked Michigan to win the National Championship back in 2013 when he filled out his brackets on Selection Sunday.

If you are going to make statements like the one you just made, matt1 - at least offer some proof!

OOPS, my fault. When the Wolverines won their only NCAA Basketball Championship in April of 1989, Dick said that he could not wait to see the Wolverines play Arizona on ABC. The Wolverines lost that very first game of the season to Arizona in late 1989.

How does that make him a Wolverines hater?

To Matt1 - anyone with functioning eyeballs knows that Michigan's 1989 team got the benefit of a whistle on what was a pretty ticky-tack foul in the final seconds of that championship game. 80 percent of the time, that type of contact would not have drawn a whistle. Even Rumeal Robinson himself stated "it was kind of a weak call." Give Robinson credit for sinking both free throws, but anyone who wasn't cheering for the Maize & Blue that night probably saw that whistle for what it was. (Thank GOD Seton Hall did not score on its final possession.)
