17-0. I have $7 and a half pack of Newports. I'm going all in.
Do you have a full tank of gas, its dark and you're wearing sunglasses too?

The Lions will win 8-9 games minimum.
I'm going to predict a record of 9-8.

This piece of shit team just allowed Philly's QB to run for a first down on a 3rd & 15.

Nice "Swiss cheese" style goal line stand by the Lions. :lol

WTF are they doing running a play from scrimmage, from that field position, on 3rd down, before the 2 minute warning when they have the ability to run down the game clock and take advantage of the 2 minute warning???

They scored a TD on 4th down at least. Eagles have plenty of time on the game clock plus two timeouts to potentially score again before halftime. We'll see what the Lions D can do.

Swift was awesome.

Goff was mediocre but not terrible. Maybe even OK.

WRs were awful, but we knew that would be a weakness this season.

Defense was terrible, especially on third down.

Campbell sucked. On side kick early in the third quarter was a stupid and unnecessary stunt that backfired, and clock management was not good in a couple critical situations, either.

Swift is the ONLY reason the game was as close as it was.

There are times for trick plays. Campbell seems to have a knack for never knowing when those times are. That was NOT the situation for an onside kick.

At the end of the day though it was Detroit's defense that lost them the game. Not gonna win many games giving up 38.

Looks like I'm keeping my $7 and half pack of Newports!

They were resilient. This isn't a year for lazily painting with a broad brush.

Sure it is. These are the LIONS.

Down 17 to start the fourth quarter and they didn't quit. Jalen Hurts is a playmaker that will make plenty of teams look bad.

They usually didn't quit last year, either. They wound up winning 3 games total.

Even I recognize this team is capable of winning several more games this season than last. I just think it is highly unlikely they will crack the .500 barrier. They lack the necessary talent, in my view.

A good number of folks think the Eagles will win 10+ games this year, so at least they lost to a seemingly good team today.

We'll see how they fare against Washington at home next week. That is a game Detroit absolutely should win if they want to hold out hope of convincing us of the progression narrative.

That defensive effort was horrid. The offense looked aggressive for once. But as long as Goof and Campbell are at the helm, don’t expect any winning seasons.

They played a likely 9-8 Philly team, not world beaters.

The amount of drops and missed completion opportunities for imperfectly thrown yet playable balls by the WRs was inexcusable. A few of those didn't matter because the Lions still scored TDs on those drives.

Goff was not the weakest link today. Was he great? No. Was he horrible? No.
