Let's not forget that Gilbert tried hiring Izzo many years ago, too. Pat Caputo blew about three gaskets over the fact Izzo even interviewed.
I'm pleased by how Michigan has played over the past couple weeks. For a first year coach, Juwan Howard is faring decently.
There were a number of seasons where Beilein teams had mid-season slumps, too.
I'm hopeful Michigan's current intensity will last into the postseason.

So far, the path has been fairly Beilein-esque: have a great start, shit the bed in January/February, and make a run. They've played very well the last two weeks.

It is little early to say that unless you are a troll or just plain ignorant.
Izzo was 16-16 his first season , 9-9 in conference his first two years but he turned out pretty good.

While that’s true I’m responding to Matt acting as though Juwans team is that good and any attempt to derail Michigan by Gilbert has already failed... he says something he can’t possibly know so damn confidently...

Juwan Howard is simply a low character garbage human being. He's been a cheat and immoral his whole life. Took money from Uncle Ed, Has 7 kids with 5 different women, (1 he denies), convicted drunk driver, been sued by multiple women for transmitting STDs to them, was accused in a gang rape.
