I agree; he has become an excellent color analyst. Was never a fan of Phil Simms' broadcasting style. I really enjoy the pairing of Jim Nantz and Tony Romo.

Montgomery's contribution today definitely exceeded my expectation.

I am very relieved the TD that was stolen from the Lions in the 1st quarter ultimately did not affect the outcome of today's game.

Thanksgiving is 10 days away. Virtually EVERY turkey day game in the past was inconsequential, because the Lions were already eliminated. Not next Thursday. I love this team.

That clock management at the end was absolute perfection - right down to the split second they barely had to get to the 2-minute warning (which would have otherwise possibly left the Chargers with about 30 seconds left at the end).

The only play call I think I actually disagreed with tonight was the 4th and goal from the 2 in the 1st quarter. They had already gambled and won on 4th down twice and chewed up a lot of clock. I woulda kicked the FG there. That nitpick aside, I think Campbell made all the right decisions tonight (on offense anyways).

Pretty much agree, beemer. Though I think I would have tried the 55 yard fg in the first half, but Campbell knows his kicker better than I.

I held onto my sense of we were winning this one, if only because it very much felt like we were able to control the pacing, while they could not.

They should absolutely be 12-2 going into the final stretch, but this is the parity league, so who knows.

The only ones to even think twice about on that road to 12-2 would be maybe the Saints IMO.

I'd be wondering if there's a chance Philadelphia doesn't end up sweeping their next five? (Which would be: KC, Buffalo, San Fran, Dallas, and Seattle.)

I agree should've kicked the FG would've been up 20-3 at that point in the game. It was a thrilling game and very happy with the walk-off FG at the end of the game. First time beating the Chargers in SD/LA I believe as the Lions aren't good when playing out west.
