That's one of those ads that is so bizarrely bad that it seems like a parody. The spokesman is nuts—he even sprays it in his mouth.

Forgive me if this is already in the thread, and I didn't back up to see that it was addressed but Christina, the DIY home repair lady who is stumping for Jacuzzi is an embarrassment when she delivers her copy on whatever one-day tub or shower they are offering. Anyone who makes it as far as she has ought to be taught to make their presentation flow, instead of --- a ---- choppy-- completion of----= the sentences. Pauses frequently in the wrong places. Intimidated, inexperienced or unconcerned production, perhaps. Off the soapbox I go.

Can LC finally kill off the fucking annoying "deep dish combo mambo" commercial during every Tigers game on TV for like four years now? Their deep dish is actually decent unlike their other slop, it doesn't need a damn jingle.

I can't find it on their YouTube but there is a spot that WDIV keeps running during their Olympics coverage about a guy moving to Ohio professionally and like meeting a woman from Ohio and they fall in love and get a house together and it's like... it just seems like the most ridiculous place to set a Hallmark movie, lol. Which really feels like the inspiration for this campaign.

Don't get me wrong, I actually still think the new campaign is better than the old one. In terms of it looking more professional and well put-together. I mean, there's MONEY behind these. Maybe that's why they seem like such wild swings. The old ads "Ohio: Find It Here" that had that comic sans look were not impressive. Meanwhile, Pure Michigan has not been getting the money they used to.

I mean, the reality of Ohio wouldn't make for a good ad campaign. Think a commercial about a guy selling Percocets for a living because his factory closed and moved to Mexico would be nice?

There was this one in the early 2000's for Kendall Jackson Chardonay on the radio. A co-worker and I get pretty annoyed with it.

Anything with Liberty Mutual and I mean anything to do with them. Piss on them and the brown emu they rode in on.
