Rocketing instantly to the top of my Most Annoying list is the new "An Army of One" TVC, by and for America's lawyer, Geoffrey Fieger. An "anthem"-style spot with orchestra and chorus singing an inspired hymn, and dramatic shots of Fieger in many very serious and concerned poses, moving among and gesturing at iconic landmarks within the city of Detroit.

any fucking commercial that starts with stupid sound effects/ringtones to get the viewer's attention. The State Farm one bastardizing Barry Manilow's classic jingle into a four-note ringtone, the high-pitched "NERDS!!!!" at the start of Nerdwallet ads, to name just two. Here in Toledo for years this property auctioneer named Pamela Rose advertises during less desirable timeslots and always starts her ads with a doorbell sound.

Products for your Nether Regions-
On some basic cable or OTA diginet I recently saw a stool softener ad, followed in the same break by a butt crack deodorant.
They could have done a trifecta and added Prep H or Lume to that mix, and throw in a roll of Charmin for a clean finish to a "theme" set.

Ok, we get it. Please, Lord, make them pull the "Winner Winner Breakup Dinner" spot and its variations out of the rotation of repetitive casino and gambling site ads. That, along with Kevin Hart and the grating-voiced "King of Live Dealers" girl. Makes me long for a return of Draft Kings' Jessie "Make It Rain" Coffiel

The Chips Ahoy commercial featuring a dad, his daughter and most bafflingly, a CGI-animated cookie dancing.
First of all, any food commercial involving dancing sucks, especially if the food is sentient. Second of all, the music is awful. Third of all, Chips Ahoy are nasty. No need for those glorified wood chips when one can get much better cookies in the bakery section of any supermarket.
