FANTASTIC show! Got great seats at the last minute and it was the best concert I've seen in many years. Great rapport with the audience, sounded excellent, wonderful band.

I live in Orange County, CA. He was in my hometown of Costa Mesa.

I know he has a full tour schedule and headed to Denver in a few weeks. I just bought my sister tickets gor that show.

Lead guitarist was great. I did some googling and he has an interesting lineage: https://www.dallasnews.com/arts-enterta ... ylor-tour/

Was James Taylor there as well as it seems to be the same tour or just Jackson?

Unfortunately, no. I think James and Jackson were in Anaheim last fall, but I missed that show.

Did Browne do the late Warren Zevon's "Werewolves Of London"?? Warren mentions Browne on the 1980 live album "Stand In The Fire"!!

No, he didn't. That would have been cool.

There were a couple times where you could see he was varying from the song list, either because the mood struck him, or because of an audience request. Gave the show a spontaneous feel, along with his banter.

His entrance was about as casual as it could be too. No blaring announcement, "Ladies and gentlemen, JACKSON BROWNE!!!" He just walked on stage with his band.

Thanks for sharing that, Honeyman.

And good for you that you (and eventually, your sister) got/get to see JB live!

Thanks kager. I actually saw him back during the Running on Empty tour, so around 1978, I guess. I was far more sober on Saturday, and appreciated this one a great deal more.
