Cool segues
Last time I did a funny segues thread from spotify. This time cool ones.
"Please Don't Go" by No Mercy into "How Bizarre" by OMC with the 3 second crossfade I have on was absolutely amazing.
Another one I remember a few months ago that I liked was "Judy in Disguise (With Glasses)" into "Heatwave"

Was that last one from a few years ago or recently?stopnswop2 wrote: ↑Sat Jul 16, 2022 7:02 pmLast time I did a funny segues thread from spotify. This time cool ones.

Re: Cool segues
"I Wanna Be The Only One" by Eternal into "Solid" by Ashford and Simpson.
I wasn't even aware the song had changed for at least half a minute.

Re: Cool segues
My buddy has an internet radio station and plays both songs, so a segue with those two could've easily happened at one point.

Classic Hits 419. It's based in Toledo. It has a large library of songs mainly from the 70's and 80's, but also has some 60's and 90's, and a few 50's and 2000's songs as well.stopnswop2 wrote: ↑Fri Sep 23, 2022 6:39 amI'd like to listen. Re: Cool segues
Another from 100.3 WNIC. I didn't hear this then, but I found a 2006 aircheck with it.
I Hope You Dance by Lee Ann Womack followed by Twist and Shout by The Beatles.
And from the same aircheck
I Need To Know by Marc Anthony, followed by Baby Now That I've Found You by The Foundations.
They seem to be trying to replicate this today by playing modern crap pop followed by 80s songs, but it sounds terrible. It's unlistenable.
60s, 70s, 80s, and 90s music blends in very nice together.
Nothing coming out today resembles what I consider music, so it's totally jarring to hear Joan Jett followed by some weird Harry Styles song or Justin Bieber

That first one's really interesting. Country pop followed by British Invasion.stopnswop2 wrote: ↑Mon Oct 10, 2022 12:59 amAnother from 100.3 WNIC. I didn't hear this then, but I found a 2006 aircheck with it.
