Canadian singer Les Emmerson of The Staccato's "Half Past Midnight" in 1968 & The Five Man Electrical Band "Signs" in 1971, later done by Tesla in 1991, has died at 77 years old. His other songs included "Control Of Me" & "Cry Your Eyes Out" both in 1973 as a solo artist as well as Five Man Electrical Band "Absolutely Right" in late 1971, "Money Back Guarantee" in 1972, "I'm A Stranger Here" in 1973 & their last "Werewolf" in 1974. The Five Man Electrical Band performed in the first rock concert that I ever saw, in early 1972 in Indianapolis. Also on the bill were Rare Earth and Don McLean.
All along the icy wastes, there are faces smiling in the gloom.
