The Moody Blues were a favorite of mine back in the old days. They had a whole string of albums where I liked every single song.

I know the Moody Blues - like many other acts of the 60s-70-s80s & way past prime - have been playing the cruise ship circuit for some time, but I'm not sure Edge was involved, at least recently. Petoskey-native Alan Hewitt had been playing keyboard for them for much of the past decade, but that gig may be up. John Lodge was still doing cruise shows, too, but not sure with the MB's...

The Dickies version of Knights In White Satin is hysterical.

I was really into the Moodies during the spacy three-album span In Search of the Lost Chord, On the Threshold of a Dream, and To Our Children's Children's Children. I began to lose interest with the following album A Question of Balance with its more stripped-down sound and production. It's funny in that now in my mature years I'm really coming to appreciate the tuneful songwriting and performances of all those albums subsequent to TOCCC, as well as Days of Future Passed.
