Pretty good. I didn't realize how much he partied.

He has signed over the royalties to The Wreck to the Great Lakes Maritime Academy here in TC. He's been known to slip into town and lecture to cadets. I had a chance to meet him about 2007.

Related... the Edmund Fitzgerald investigation doc was on PBS last night. Pretty good info and well put together.

If it's the documentary subtitled If You Could Read My Mind, it's also available free to Comcast subscribers via Tubi TV.

I agree it was an interesting viewing, and perhaps a tad self-serving. However, all fans should enjoy it.
