Ranking Rare Earth

Ranking The Studio Album of Detroit's Rare Earth (1968 - 2008) with host Pete Pardo which they made 14 studio albums & 1 live album. The 1982 album for RCA was only released in Canada which was their worst effort!! By the way, check out Peter Rivera "It Is What It Is" & the duet with Mitch Ryder (2017) on iTunes. My pick, "One World" (1971) over "Ecology" (late 1970). https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-_E-SPq5t3U&t=62s

I rank Rare Earth at the bottom. Never liked them, actually Motown’s worst act.

Former Rolling Stone rock critic Dave Marsh said in the "Rolling Stone Album Guide" in 1983 "Where was Berry Gordy, out to lunch??"

Always liked Ecology, didn't much care for Get Ready -- what they did with Savoy Brown's "Train to Nowhere" was criminal. Listening to One World in its entirety for the first time as I write this; so far I place it behind Ecology.
