Bill Withers, 81

Post by kager » Fri Apr 03, 2020 11:21 am

"Lean on Me", "Ain't No Sunshine", "Just the Two of Us", "Lovely Day" were some of his biggest hits.

Mr. Withers apparently passed on Monday 3/30 at age 81, but his passing just announced today.

His music will live on at WDUV Tampa Bay. He's on their regular playlist.

I started out with nothing and I still have most of it.

That's actually pretty humorous. I recall more than once hearing on-air the turntable tone arm lifted off the platter thinking it was a skip when the song first broke.
