Sue Cowsill on "I'm On Fire" by the Dwight Twilley Band. (Free-ee-ee-ee-ee I think, like and spaghettied.)

Linda Ronstadt on "Lonely Boy" by Andrew Gold. Second verse. (We must attend to her needs, she's so much younger than you.)

Glen Campbell plays the bowed hacksaw on "Baby I Do Love You" by The Galens. (From near the beginning. Theremin and Moog replaced the need for hacksaws.)

Ray Stevens plays harpsichord on "Reach Out In The Darkness" by Friend and Lover. (Background to "I knew a man that I did not care for, and then one day this man gave me a call.)

Years before The Devil Went Down To Georgia Charlie Daniels was a session musician in Nashville. During that time he played on a Leonard Cohen album.

Madonna on "Sidewalk Talk" (Jellybean) (only on the choruses and bridge; the verses were sung by the late Kat Buchanan)
Daryl Hannah on "You're a Friend of Mine" (Jackson Browne & Clarence Clemmons)
Cheryl Ladd on "I Want You, I Need You" (Chris Christian)
Chaka Khan on "Higher Love" (Steve Winwood - she also appeared in the video)
Chaka Khan on "Save It for a Rainy Day" (Stephen Bishop)
Martha Davis (The Motels) and Patty Smyth (Scandal) on "Sunset Grill" (Don Henley)
Michelle Phillips (The Mamas & The Papas) on "Heaven Is a Place on Earth" (Belinda Carlisle)
Darlene Love on "The Power of Love/Love Power" (Luther Vandross)
Dusty Springfield on "The B**ch Is Back" (Elton John)
Gladys Knight & The Pips on "Share Your Love with Me" (Kenny Rogers)
Prince on "A Love Bizarre" (Sheila E.) (the song is basically a duet but was not credited as such)
Sheena Easton on "U Got the Look" (Prince) (again, a duet that was not credited as such)
Luther Vandross on "Keep Coming Back" (Richard Marx)
A pre-stardom Cher on "You've Lost That Lovin' Feelin'" (Righteous Brothers)
Dolly Parton and Linda Ronstadt sang backup on Emmylou Harris' album version of "Mr. Sandman," but were not featured on the single release due to contractual issues. They did later do a number of "Trio" albums together, though.
Mariah Carey started by singing backup for Brenda K. Starr though I'm not sure if she sings on any of Brenda's hits.

On multiple occasions, a former Fleetwood Mac member has appeared on a Fleetwood Mac album after leaving the group.
[*]In 1979, original guitarist Peter Green, who had left the group in 1970 but briefly rejoined in 1971 after Jeremy Spencer left, appeared on the song "Brown Eyes" off the album Tusk
[*]On 1990's Behind the Mask, Lindsey Buckingham, who had left in 1987, appeared on the title track playing guitar
[*]1995's Time had Buckingham appear on the track "Nothing About You"; Buckingham (and Stevie Nicks, who had left in 1991) would rejoin Fleetwood Mac two years later
[*]2003's Say You Will had Christine McVie, who had left in 1998 (and would rejoin in 2014), appear on the tracks "Bleed to Love Her" and "Steal Your Heart Away"

Speaking of Say You Will, Sheryl Crow appeared on the title track and "Silver Girl"
