Re: Songs With Famous Unexpected Back Up Singers And Session Musicians
On multiple occasions, a former Fleetwood Mac member has appeared on a Fleetwood Mac album after leaving the group.
[*]In 1979, original guitarist Peter Green, who had left the group in 1970 but briefly rejoined in 1971 after Jeremy Spencer left, appeared on the song "Brown Eyes" off the album Tusk
[*]On 1990's Behind the Mask, Lindsey Buckingham, who had left in 1987, appeared on the title track playing guitar
[*]1995's Time had Buckingham appear on the track "Nothing About You"; Buckingham (and Stevie Nicks, who had left in 1991) would rejoin Fleetwood Mac two years later
[*]2003's Say You Will had Christine McVie, who had left in 1998 (and would rejoin in 2014), appear on the tracks "Bleed to Love Her" and "Steal Your Heart Away"
Speaking of Say You Will, Sheryl Crow appeared on the title track and "Silver Girl"
