Nah. I think either a harder-edged rock station, a 90s/00s based rock station, or a talk/rock hybrid (a la WMMS) are in the cards.
Morgan Wallen is a piece of garbage.

KEGL? Their tag line is "The Ball Buster"?

I was just being sarcastic but it will likely be a refresh or a slight change. The rock/talk thing is possible.MWmetalhead wrote: ↑Sat Sep 24, 2022 6:44 amNah. I think either a harder-edged rock station, a 90s/00s based rock station, or a talk/rock hybrid (a la WMMS) are in the cards.

It’s going Sports/Hot Talk. iHeart is gonna have it’s work cut out for them going up against two very successful sports talkers in KTCK and KRLD.
Crazy to think just a year or so ago, they were consistently in the top five stations 18-49.

Oh interesting! Sounds like this could be the launching ground of a new format and possibly one that makes it's way to other markets(i.e 106.7 Detroit). Right, taking on heritage or long standing stations is a tough task to say the least.
I admit I don't follow Dallas/Ft. Worth radio too much but I did not know The Eagles ratings were that low.

So... I could be wrong here but I got a bad feeling about this.
