Legendary WBZ Broadcaster Gary LaPierre dies at 76

I remember hearing LaPierre doing the news on WBZ back in their rock'n'roll 60s when I'd listen to Dick Summer. Had one of the most "listenable" voices anywhere. Before the days of IBOC, WUFL on 1030, and other noisemakers, WBZ's morning news block with LaPierre anchoring was often solid copy here.
