KISS 106.1 Seattle

Hey, some of us like to talk about happenings in other areas of the country, too. Here's the place to do it.

KISS 106.1 Seattle

Post by Mega Hertz » Wed Oct 31, 2018 11:48 am

Since we lost the thread that concerns the stunting on KISS 106.1 in Seattle, I thought I'd start another one up. They're still playing the song snippets with SFX over them and declaring that "Kiss 106.1 is Dead". They're also pointing towards tuning in at 4:00pm.

I still say good and wish that iHeart would kill off 95.5 also.

No major change.

The station did a relaunch at 4PM local time today. Same name, same format (but with more alternative crossover product than before). New morning show was announced and station is holding a contest for the vacant third seat on the morning show.

"106.1 Kiss FM is dead...serious about finding Seattle's funniest person!"

Lori Bennett and Bob Walker have turned WLAV from an iconic classic rock station into a ratings boondoggle. Sad.

Oh this is weak as fuck. I love when the club slut/yo dawg/"um, like, yeah?" stations go away. Oh well. Continue to promote stupidity and ignorance and no talent.
