On Saturday, Aug 29, I was unable to access this board for several hours. Was it down? Or was the problem with my own equipment?

Me too. I really thought it had something to do with the local Internet provider that I'm hooked to right now, but I guess not.

I'm not sure what happened; didn't spend much time on the site yesterday. Been too busy cleaning the basement following Friday morning's flooding. It worked fine the couple times I logged in.
Perhaps my ISP was undertaking some server maintenance or had a server failure.
