Christmas gift idea

Post by Round Six » Mon Dec 11, 2023 12:06 pm

Many of the narratives and viewpoints here on Buzzboard show the opinions of folks that are unable or unwilling to have conversations with friends and family. Your only view of the world is the warm screen glare(tm) of social and other media. You don't really have a good grasp of what the world is like. That's not healthy.

I harp on this often.
But in all sincerity, I want my fellow Buzzboarders to do something this holiday season. I'm sure most have people asking "What do you want for Christmas?". Ask for Dale Carnegie's book How to Win Friends and Influence People. Curl up and read it.

Many of you (not all) show in your postings just how socially inverted you are.

Life is not a dress rehearsal. This is it. There's no going back, and we can only go forward before we run out of runway.

Should we brag about cheating on our significant others?

And if that doesn't work, grab a copy of Screeching Weasel's "How to Make Enemies and Irritate People". Good album.
