Long story short.

I broke down in the middle of PA at 2:30am. Called a tow truck. Arrived in 15 minutes. Towed my vehicle (and me) to the nearest dealership about 10 miles away. Unloaded vehicle in the dealership lot. He then drove me to the nearest hotel (Hampton Inn). He waited and made sure that there was a room available. I tipped him $40.

He could have left me at the dealer to fend for myself at 3am and be done with it.

I was very grateful.
Did you check for a clock in your room before he took off and left you there?
I started out with nothing and I still have most of it.

Of course, the marriage didn't last long. After three years she left him for a real man.
Good thing he didn't have a union. If he did she would have been forced to keep him and increase the amount of times she banged him per week.
New York and Chicago were all in with respect to their sanctuary status — until they were hit with the challenge of actually providing sanctuary. In other words, typical liberal hypocrisy.

If you tip a tow truck driver when you ask to be towed do you tip when you didn't ask to be towed?

Met a guy in Florida once, a tow truck operator from Buffalo NY. Had his family there for a vacation. When our coversation inevitably got around to America's obsession with guns, he told me he keeps a gun with him in his rig all the time. He said he only ever had to use it once but he was glad to have had it with him.

Otherwise, he seemed like a regular guy.
I started out with nothing and I still have most of it.

There was a clock. Wasn’t a deal breaker for me whether there was one or not.
