When I tried one it tried to get me to pay to see the results... what did you use?

It is 20 questions and I think if you take the default test you'll get the same 20 questions I got. No signup or email, it just gives you a result when you're done (after asking you a few demographic questions like age).

I got 145… what do I win? I still can’t get images to work on here though but that makes me feel way better than the 78 I got once.

That makes us either statistically the 2 smartest people on this message board (and then some), or something is up with that test. The distribution curve for that particular test CLAIMS to have an average of 100 and fit a bell curve. Actual IQ's of 143 and 145 are like, 1 in 500 people.

Well… we will need some more volunteers then. Considering how many people are on earth how many groups of 500 are there to pull two people from? It may not actually be that hard to get two really smart people in one spot.

I took the 2015 version and scored a 225/315. Not sure how that translate to an IQ but that was the score it gave me.

I took the 2016 version and got a 141 general IQ (140 for visual, 140 for logic, 144 for number).

I may take the other tests over the next few days.

Pass the links along if you can, I’d like to take a crack at the ones you do.

If you just scroll to the bottom of the page on the main link I posted here, there are links to all the other versions. I took the '15 and '16 ones.

You are really pretty funny. Since only two people have taken the test, I would suggest that you two are statistically average.

Here's an interesting read for BMW:

That depends on whether you believe the claims on the website. It claims that over 28 million people worldwide have taken their IQ tests (including nearly 5 million having taken that exact test) and that the average score is 100.7 worldwide and that the test results almost perfectly fit a bell curve. IF that is true, then RT's and my results are both in the 99.8 percentile. That said, the odds of 2 random people getting that score are about 1 in 225,000. Then again, people who post in a politics forum on the internet aren't exactly pulled from a "random" group either. Nevertheless, It would be interesting to see at least a few other people post results here. Problem with that is that a few people here may have already taken the test, gotten a low or average score, and decided not to post it here. So we'll never really know how "legit" this test is.

I did considerably worse on the '17 version, scoring a 145. But that isn't a normalized score (ie, normalized to 100 being average) and my percentile was top 37% (so 63rd percentile).

Better on the '18 version - Score of 219, at 95.2 percentile (top 4.8 percent)

Yes, and Rome wasn't built in a day. So what?

No, I'm not suggesting anything of the sort, you are.

I'm finding it amusing that folks on this thread are actually giving credence to some free online "test" whose purpose is to appeal to one's ego and sense of self-worth. :rolleyes Amazing. I do hope all of you are doing this for fun, and only fun.

That 78 was not on an internet test but an actual clinical test when I was 10.

Speaking of Genius....
X, the company formerly known as Twitter, handed out stock grants to employees on Monday that showed it was worth about $19 billion, down about 55 percent from the $44 billion that Elon Musk paid to buy the firm a year ago, according to internal documents seen by The New York Times.

Mr. Musk paid $54.20 a share to buy Twitter just over a year ago. The tech billionaire has since said he overpaid for the social network. In March, he wrote in an email to workers that he believed the company was worth $20 billion, calling it “an inverse start-up.”

In the paperwork for the new stock grants, X said the equity would be offered at $45 a share in the form of restricted stock units, which employees can earn over time. Employees will still be paid in cash in the amount of $54.20 for any outstanding shares that were granted to them under previous management, the company said.

It’s unclear why the share price has not dropped by the same percentage as the company’s valuation, though X could have altered the amount of shares outstanding. Fortune earlier reported on the valuation.

A spokesman for X did not return a request for comment.

Explains many things.
New York and Chicago were all in with respect to their sanctuary status — until they were hit with the challenge of actually providing sanctuary. In other words, typical liberal hypocrisy.
