Flame Retardant in Your Mountain Dew? Yep

So why hasn't the US banned Brominated vegetable oil? Always seems we are steps behind Europe.

Woe to you, oh earth and sea
For the Devil sends the beast with wrath
Because he knows the time is short
Let him who hath understanding reckon the number of the beast
For it is a human number
Its number is six hundred and sixty-six

Yes, C Little, the sky is still falling - just as it was nearly 12 YEARS ago when that blog was written.

Your attention would be much better focused on high fructose corn syrup.
New York and Chicago were all in with respect to their sanctuary status — until they were hit with the challenge of actually providing sanctuary. In other words, typical liberal hypocrisy.

We can walk and chew gum. Both are bad for you. Since I cut out the Mountain Dew and only do coffee and water (and a little non-caffeinated pop) I feel 10 times better.

My point being that a much greater percentage of the population regularly ingests food laced with high fructose corn syrup than consumes mountain dew.

And the big reason is government… subsidies to corn farmers and tariffs on imported sugar to help the corn farmers do better.

"As of 2020, Mountain Dew, manufactured by PepsiCo, no longer uses BVO in the main line of beverages, but the original BVO-containing formula is still sometimes sold as the lesser distributed "Mountain Dew Throwback" beverage."

Has anyone linked all of these food additives to school shootings? I am not saying they are CAUSING the shootings themselves. However, if they are disrupting our hormonal balances, they can certainly lead to depression and irrational behavior. This country totally sold us out.

Chemicals, exposure to radiation from all the electronics, drugs, bad home life, genetics… it’s probably all there.

I think it's the proliferation of aps for cell phones.
I started out with nothing and I still have most of it.

Social media - which does a lot of its distorted-reality damage via cell phones and computers and their associated apps - is at the heart of it.

That doesn’t explain how this started BEFORE those things were invented or in wide use.

Oh, I'm sure someone here could easily chart the correlation of the rise in school shootings with use of soc med AFTER they were invented and in wide use.

All that screen time with FPS games would be a factor as well.

Considering the one that started them all was in 1998 and dial up was king…

We have had video games since the 70's. Not buying the "video games make people violent" cop out.
