I just came home from one of the big pharmacy chains. Looks like they've joined the trend too. They removed all tha aisle markers that helped customers find what they were looking for. Cold relief, allergies, toothache etc.

They must have been making the store look too quaint and out of date. Let the customers use a ap to locate the products. Maybe they should also remove those unsightly labels from the packages.

Did it occur to you they may be remodeling or moved the markers to the side of the shelves?

At Hampton Inn it occurred to me that someone had stolen the clock from our room. I was wrong about that.

Well… you are permitted to be right half the time…

I was at the Hilton in San Diego recently, and they unfortunately did have clocks in the room.

I might consider Hilton again then. I don’t need some blue light ruining my peaceful nights sleep.

During my golf trip last weekend, I stayed at two Hampton Inns: Ann Arbor and Bay City. BOTH had alarm clocks. All is not lost! :rollin

Good. I'll mark both of them on my list of places to stay when I'm in MI.

I don't need a alarm clock, just a clock is good.

If I wake up during the night, it's nice to just glance at the clock to see what time it is. I know most wouldn't agree with me. They'd prefer to fumble around in the dark for their cell phone and maybe their glasses too.

We stayed at a Hampton Inn in Grand Rapids about a month ago.
There was an alarm clock. And it said "Hampton" on it. The glow didn't keep me awake.
I think the vigorous physical activity prior to falling asleep wore me out.

Problem solved.

This idea came from a user on another board. Every room has a microwave oven. All I need to do is to move it to the nightstand beside the bed. Then I'll have a clock.

Or use your cell phone like the rest of the world.

First of all, I don't have a cell phone. But even if I did, when you wake up in a dark room and you want to know the time, it's easier just to glance at a clock (or the microwave) than it would be to fumble around in the dark for a cell phone.

Well, if they find out people have been checking the clock on the microwave, they'll tell the maid to put tape over the display.
