Maybe adjust your choices...

Most people in rural areas are generally 20k+ annually.

The average in Michigan is 14,300.

In a normal year, I drive about 22000 KM (about 14K miles)

But in the last two covid years, considerably less. I bought my current vehicle in June 2020. It now has about 24000 KM (about 15K miles)

I usually keep my vehicles for four yeras. I might get 5 or 6 out of this one.

I started out with nothing and I still have most of it.

Since retiring it's been considerably less than what used to be normal. I bought my 2016 Ford Escape new; it currently has roughly 20,700 miles on it. I change oil once a year.

You pretty much nailed mine. 14,100 a year dividing total milage by the number of years I've had it.

Most of my driving is the company truck, it sits in my driveway, almost always on call. About 28,000 per year.

About 1200 on my own truck.

About 8000 on the SVU.

I've put 85,000 miles on my 2001 Chevy Blazer since 2011, so that works out to just under 8,000.

Around 15k or so. I have about a 20-25 minute drive to work. I go to see family down south about once a year and may take a regional trip a few hours away a couple times a year.

My current Vehicle is a 2008 VW Jetta, which I have owned since 2016. I may be getting a used 2015 Nissan Maxima fairly soon off a family member, it's white with a black inside. Low miles.

My Jetta has been good to me but it's got a few minor issues and it was in a minor accident last winter, which I didn't bother fixing as I only have liability on it and it's only a dented fender and door, bought a new mirror off eBay and had someone I know put it in for me. She's got around 115k on it, got it with 55k I think.

The Jetta is black and it still shines up pretty good, but does have scratches on it. I'm going to hold onto it as a 2nd car, as it's not worth a lot but I'd like to have a back up just in a case and a car to drive on crappy winters days. I put about 2 grand in it over the past year. 2 new tires, brake job both front and back, new hubs and bearings in the front. So Tuffy is a little richer now

I put about 18,000 miles a year on my Kia Soul. My aging parents live 300 miles away, so that figure may drift upward in the coming years.
