Or are they just dense? In a tweet on June first, the FIFA posted this.
“Pride Month during June is a celebration for the LGBTQIA+ community. Today has also been one of celebration at the Home of FIFA. Find out more, as well as how FIFA is working to ensure the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022, will be a celebration of unity and diversity,”

Um, homosexuality is a crime in Qatar. In some cases it is punishable by death. Hell of a place to celebrate "unity and diversity" in the alphabet community.

FIFA is a very corrupt and ineptly run organization.

If they truly cared about homosexual rights, they would never allow Qatar to host a World Cup. Looks like the Qatari government has indicated it will not enforce anti-homosexuality laws...for tourists. If you are a citizen of the country...different story.
