182 children died in Ukraine at the hands of Russian troops.

I started out with nothing and I still have most of it.

This one sucks.

Yea, but how many of them did this?

We've lost 4 comedy legends very young in a short amount of time. First Norm Macdonald in September, then Bob Saget in January, then Louie Anderson later on in the month, then just today, Gilbert Gottfried. None of them made it to 70. May they all R.I.P.

I was a gigantic Gilbert Gottfried fan.

Watched most of the Comedy Central roasts where he participated. Watched his biographical movie (which was outstanding, I might add). Listened to many of his Stern show appearances.

Loved his impressions of Groucho "near the end". Loved his extremely filthy renditions of the Aristocrats joke.

Even his corny Andrew Dice Clay impressions were rather funny.

He leaves behind two school age children and a widow.

R.I.P. Gilbert.

He was a load of late night fun on USA Up All Night...way back in the day.

RIP

Totally original and completely hilarious. There was never a time I didn't completely crack up seeing him.

You're right, the world can be a horrible place, TT. All the more reason we need comedy. We just lost one of the funniest men around. You should watch Neck's link, and search out others. Laughing is not a sin.

This might have a good time for a "Gilbert who?" retort.

I always laugh when I always see his famous 1998 Hollywood Squares appearance where he yells "YOU FOOL!" to both contestants who get his answers wrong,

I need to find the YouTube clip where he made an appearance on Fox 10's mid morning newscast in Phoenix about a decade ago. Funny shit.

The comedian claimed he met Jackie Kennedy Onassis at a cocktail party, before delivering the line: “I went up to her and wanted to break the ice … So I said, ‘Do you remember where you were when you heard JFK was shot?’ ”

He was indeed funny to the extreme. He did loose his AFLAC gig voicing the duck because of one of his offensive bits on the Stern show.

New York and Chicago were all in with respect to their sanctuary status — until they were hit with the challenge of actually providing sanctuary. In other words, typical liberal hypocrisy.

He's the only comedian Seinfeld openly hated. So he had that going for him too.
