I thought (hoped) the short habit of naming winter storms in the US would fizzle out like a bad fart, but unfortunately there's already one named "Atticus" coming...
Spectrum emailed to let us know that they are on the ready should their services be impacted. Whew!
Naming winter storms
Re: Naming winter storms
I miss Brighthouse. Spectrum sucks.
New York and Chicago were all in with respect to their sanctuary status — until they were hit with the challenge of actually providing sanctuary. In other words, typical liberal hypocrisy.
Re: Naming winter storms
I name every storm. Winter and summer. And they all start with C.
I don't mean to brag, but I just put a puzzle together in 1 day and the box said 2-4 years.
Re: Naming winter storms
I've already named today's storm. It took down a full size Spruce tree in our yard. The tree fell on the fence and wrecked it.
It was blocking the public sidewalk in front of our house. The City crew came and cut away that much of the tree and now I'm trying to find a tree company to do the rest of the job. Of course they're all going to be busy for the next several days.
I won't give the name I chose for the storm. It would likely get me kicked off the board.
