Canada's Anti-Working Class Government

The U.S. allows fully vaccinated Canadians into your country. All we need to do is show our proof of vaccination card, if asked..
That's not good enough for Canada. Upon returning home we can show all the proof in the world, but if we don't have a phone with a ap, we have to quarantine for two weeks. Looks like another year I won't be getting to Florida.

I could just ignore the quarantine order but disguise myself as middle class whenever I leave the house.
Wear my clothes inside out, so the labels are showing. Wear sandals with no socks. Wear sun glasses on top of my shaved head. Ear ring in one ear. I could probably just bend a piece of copper wire into a hoop shape. Buy an old cell phone from a thrift shop and super glue it to the palm of my hand.
Hell. they might even allow me inside the bank looking like that.

Hey. As I see it there are only about two benefits to growing old. One, you can get away with taking a nap in the middle of the day without anyone bitching at you or, feeling guilty about it.
And two is a license to practice curmudgeonery.
Well, maybe a third is the inability for an opponent to win a bar fight.

Actually, I'm glad kager posted that link for me. Turns out I don't need a cell phone. I can download the ap tp my laptop, no matter how I'm dressed.
