Soil Your Undies
Hey Canada, it's time to Soil Your Undies... in the name of soil conservation
Who doesn't like playing in the dirt? The Soil Conservation Council of Canada sure does and is encouraging the Canadian public to do so as well in honour of National Soil Conservation Week.
Anyone can take part! All you need is a new pair of white 100% cotton briefs, a shovel, a marker flag and a patch of soil to bury your undies. Once you have all that, follow the instructions below and be sure to share your experiences with your social networks.

Damn, ya beat me to it.
I would imagine 100% cotton is indeed biodegradable. They should be eaten up by the wee small soil beasties in a couple months or so. It's the elastic band that's problematic.

Isn't it rather cold up there to be gardening in your bloomers? Much less burying them afterwards.

Why are brand new undies specified?? How stupid!
A 'dirty' pair with 'skid marks' and yellow & gray stains would be SO much better for the soil! DON'T wash 'em and don't forget to cut off the elastic part like the other guy said!
