Man accidentally shoots self in groin while showing off handgun

An Oregon man showing off his handgun to a buddy inside a supermarket unintentionally shot himself in the groin.

Nicholas Ellingford, 29, fired off the accidental shot from his Glock 9-mm while waiting to check out at McKay’s Market in Lincoln City, the Oregonian reported, citing police.

The gun discharged as Ellingford placed it back into his pants, at which time the bullet went through his groin and out through his thigh.

He was airlifted to a Portland hospital.

Police said Ellingford could face charges for both his recklessness and for not having a concealed handgun licence.

Lincoln City is 2812 miles from Niceville.

He's always been known to shoot from the hip.

New York and Chicago were all in with respect to their sanctuary status — until they were hit with the challenge of actually providing sanctuary. In other words, typical liberal hypocrisy.
