Fake Social Security Administration Calls

Post by MotorCityRadioFreak » Fri Sep 18, 2020 9:20 pm

I have gotten 3 fake calls from a pre recorded female voice saying my social security number has been compromised and she is from the SSA(Social Security Admin). All three from a different number, one from a Nashville Cracker Barrel(615 area code). Has anyone gotten these today?

The right needs to stop worry about what’s between people’s legs. Instead, they should focus on what’s between their ears.
Audacity sucks.

Are they asking you to do anything?

I started out with nothing and I still have most of it.

Reminds me of a call I've had a few times lately. A robo message says they are calling about my Amazon Prime account. My payment is overdue and they will debit my credit card. If I wish to speak to someone press (I forget which key.)

So I pressed they key. I told the guy it's a scam I've never in my life done any business with Amazon. The guy apologized for the mix up and told me to just give him my credit card information and he would straighten it out.

I hung up the phone, probably with excessive vigor.

The SSA calls follow a tight script. Always the same shit.

The Amazon Prime ones are growing with frequency but the groups who run them dont follow as tight to a script.
