She takes after her foster daddy! :)

New York and Chicago were all in with respect to their sanctuary status — until they were hit with the challenge of actually providing sanctuary. In other words, typical liberal hypocrisy.

Gretta has made remarkable progress since I first brought her home. She has put on weight, adjusted to being a family dog living in a house and her skin condition is pretty close to being non existent.

She has a spay appointment next week and then I will open her up for adoption.

This was taken Sunday while out in the yard doing some training.

Very beautiful dog. She looks healthy now. You can see it in her coat.

Gretta will be going to her furever home and joining her new family later this afternoon. It would be less than honest for me to say that I won't miss her. She was a real sweetheart with a lot of heart. The new family have three children ages 11 to 16 and they will give her all the attention and love she deserves.

No rest for the wicked, I will be taking this guy in sometime on Saturday. Hopefully, he'll be a quick fix.

Warms my heart to know Gretta is going to have a good home. Kudos, Bryce.....but that husky looks like trouble!

Huskies are great dogs, but they are stubborn sometimes.

Juno, the husky, was adopted by a 50 something couple today. I only had him a short time because he needed very little if any health or training help, just someone to give him love and attention. He licked my hand as I was leaving as if to say "Thanks for the help." Heartwarming I tell you.

Nice looking dog. The kind I would want if I could have a dog.

If you ever get a husky, I would recommend a couple of Roomba's to go along with it. They make shepherds look like pikers when it comes to shedding. My wife is still pissed at me for taking him in AND she has a Roomba.

A guy in our neighbourhood has a husky. Every day, the dog runs up and down all the streets pulling him on a skateboard.

Just the kind of thing a husky was bred to do. I'll bet that's one happy husky.
