Pandemic & Pay

Post by Deleted User 4520 » Sun Aug 30, 2020 10:04 am

Remember when many store workers were getting an extra $2/hour and other bonuses? I feel as long as the pandemic is going on that those should still be in effect. We're putting our lives and our families lives on the line. The threat is far from over. What makes now so different from when it first started? People are still refusing to mask up and social distance. Look at these college kids going to parties spreading the disease. It's a mistake to reopen schools at this time for in-person learning. As soon as a kid or teacher gets the Covid-19 they're gonna have to shut down anyways.

Yep, they will shut it down.

Ask not what your country can do FOR you; ask what they are about to do TO YOU!!

I personally don’t see why wages should be more. You signed up for the job. Higher wages equals higher prices, higher prices means less business and that could cause layoffs.

What value are you adding that makes you think you are entitled to more money?

Voting for Trump is dumber than playing Russian Roulette with fully loaded chambers.
