I finally got with the times and signed up for reddit.
Umm, it's nice to have a giant internet-wide message board on every topic ever, but it just doesnt have that same kick and thrill about it like a real message board, such as this one.
I just don't get the hype

I like it. I like being able to join the various sub-reddits that appeal to me (like motorcycles, weird news, UFOs, Grand Rapids, even one for a weird phobia I have called submechanophobia, among others), while at the same time avoiding topics I have no interest in, or just care to avoid. But if you prefer a small, more-specific board like this one, then maybe it's not for you.

I've been on there for a few months, and like tc, I joined all the sub-Reddits on topics that interest me, or even my city, which has its own Subreddit. I love Ask Reddit. There's lots to find on there.

With Facebook, you can do the same thing with Facebook groups. I'm in quite a few and I enjoy talking to people who share interests with me.

I love the VintageAudio subreddit. I get lost for hours on there.
