Even if required by law, I will not wear a face mask. I have a right to wear or not wear whatever I want.

I have a feeling that if you tried to go buy groceries buck naked, local law enforcement would inform you otherwise.

Plus it's highly unlikely that they would sell him any groceries.

Well, in Michigan, we are supposed to wear one now:

Any individual able to medically tolerate a face covering must wear a covering over his or her nose and mouth—such as a homemade mask, scarf, bandana, or handkerchief—when in any enclosed public space."

There's no criminal penalty, and the medically tolerate exception deems the "requirement" unenforceable.
