I don't use drugs or alcohol, so I would refuse because there should be no suspicion in the first place.

Ask not what your country can do FOR you; ask what they are about to do TO YOU!!

It’s highly unlikely they’d ask you to submit to one...

That’s cute.

You’d think innocence would be your best friend, but it ain’t with cops!

Consider the innocent man they put behind bars for 90 days because they thought drywall dust was cocaine.

https://nypost.com/2017/06/30/cops-thou ... s-cocaine/

Or the time cops thought a french fry was a joint.

There’s a reason why the law enforcement profession attracts these losers with a god-complex, who have never had sex in their lives, and never went to college.
And for those folks who can’t even cut it there we have always got a space or two here at the buzzboard to listen to their god complex rantings...

Sorry you didn’t get on the Force, have never slept with anybody and never went to college... it’s a shame really.

Random capitalization, then blame spell check. Want to talk about it? When did this all start?
When did what start? Random capitalization? Probably when I got an iPhone...

You shared those stories before. I agree those were bad cases.

In Ontario, if the police have reason to believe one may be driving impaired, they can compel the driver to submit to a test. Refusal to submit to a test is treated as an offence equal to that of impaired driving.

Reasonable grounds may be erratic driving, alcohol on one's breath, slurred speech etc.

It's common for them to stop a driver for some other purpose like speeding or a defective tail light and then become suspicious of the drivers impairment when the driver opens the window or gets out of the vehicle.

I started out with nothing and I still have most of it.

I have a cousin who is a police sgt. He went to college. Considering he has 2 kids, id say hes had sex too.

Fail.

I've encountered some cops that were super nice and some that were drill sergeants. Getting pulled over for burnt-out plate light is silly,

I'm so nice that they are embarrassed they pulled me over for a plate light,

Here’s a thought:
Don’t want to get pulled over? Keep all your lights working at ALL times. You seem to be outraged because you got pulled over for failing to replace a 50 cent light bulb which was all the excuse they needed, If you don’t feel like doing that simple thing then you deserve what you get.

I always try to asses if the officer has a sense of humor by asking, "Are you looking for trouble?"
It is amazing how many don't.

:lol

That would be a dumbass yardstick.

May as well ask the TSA, "Should I remove my gun and bomb, too?" in line at the airport, ya know, just to see if they have a sense of humor.

Lights go out when you’re driving and can’t see the back lights.
Exactly. (I know RateThis doesn't remember this, but this was before the days of indicators for burnt out lights.)

I had a car with four bulbs in the back, one burned out. Of course, I got pulled over on US-10. I was questioned if I had crack pipe, but it was just clean piece of heatshink tubing. Of course never ever carry jumper clips!

Anyway back to story, I was issued a verbal warning to fix the light. So when I got home I took out the other bulb, so there was just one working on each side. I never got pulled over again and I had a spare bulb. :lol
