Is this only available up north? I've never seen that in the states, but I'd definitely give it a try.

I'll say it's German. But that's as much as I can muster.

You are correct - the beer is from Deutschland. One of their 'craft' beers, I am told...

Well, this subject lost out to every other one on Chatterbox (thanks for trying, H-man!), so here's the reveal:

FWIW - 'Landbier' is neither a particular type of beer (lager, ale, stout), nor a favourite adult beverage of land sharks. It is somewhat akin to what we call a craft beer in the states.

This one's a rather hazy lager, low malt, near hefe. Pairs well with a brat on a hot summer day.

We are very much looking forward tasting it on tap! Got a trip planned for Oktoberfest this year, but in case that doesn't work out, the owner of the brewery is sending a keg over from DE. And the kegerator already has the proper fittings for a Euro keg. :D

Doesn't look like it does a great job at head retention.
New York and Chicago were all in with respect to their sanctuary status — until they were hit with the challenge of actually providing sanctuary. In other words, typical liberal hypocrisy.

I wish the US would get the Molson and Labatt varieties that Canada has.
Woe to you, oh earth and sea
For the Devil sends the beast with wrath
Because he knows the time is short
Let him who hath understanding reckon the number of the beast
For it is a human number
Its number is six hundred and sixty-six
