The working class is the only social class without a minimum income threshold for membership. We're inclusive. All are welcome, Union and non-Union alike. I've worked at lots of non-Union jobs in my lifetime
I started out with nothing and I still have most of it.

I didn't ignore your questions. I guess I just missed them. I reviewed your posting and I do see one question. "Am I working class?" Only you can answer that question. I have no idea what is in your heart. Are there other questions I've missed?

Here is a shot of me in my LL Bean great coat after installing my first window Air conditioner after 19 years with box fans. Now I'm up to 3 window air conditioners. Pretty soon I'll be movin on up to the east side. Got my eye on a deluxe apartment in the sky.

I've already given my definition for working class. Middle class, I suppose, is bracketed by upper and lower income thresholds. I don't know what numbers are being applied these days. I'll have to ask some of my middle class friends As for upper class, that's completely foreign to me. I've never even met anyone from the upper class.

Is that to say there is no maximum income threshold?
Maybe what you call "working class" I call "blue collar". To me "blue collar" and "white collar" loosely categorize as to how you make your money. Whereas "lower class", "middle class" and "upper class" describe how much you make.
So in my view most "lower class" financially are going to be blue collar. Most upper class are going to be "white collar" but the middle class will have a great mix of both.
examples
NS8401 drive a bus. I call that blue collar, but he makes more money than my wife who does billing for the University of Michigan School of Dentistry which I would call white collar.
According to Pew Research NS8401 is on the low end of middle class and my wife is just under middle class. But if we combine her income with my social security we are solidly in the lower end of middle class. If NS8401 has a working significant other then they are solidly in the middle class.
Right now in the US its possible for plumbers, electricians and welders to flirt with the threshold for upper class making over 100,000 a year. I know a truck driver who makes over 100,000.

I know working class (blue collar) skilled trades people with incomes up to $100K.
