One of the churches here is selling Halloween pumpkins. Seems ironic that a Christian Church is fund raising off a pagan celebration of witchcraft and the occult.

Christmas is timed with Pagan rituals as it made it more appealing to Pagans to convert if it was maliable to their traditions... flexibility bird... flexibility...

Just as Easter comes from a pagan, spring celebration of fertility. Rabbits and eggs were the symbols of fertility.

It goes along with church-sponsored trips to Vegas and weekly bingo; i.e., anything to keep the flock together and/or make a buck or two.
