Oh shoot… blasts a hole in my evening then.

Actually, I really did go into the store and got an incredibly good deal. A set of Bushnell 10 X 50 mm binoculars. Priced at $120. But the only ones they had left were the set in the glass display case. Because they were already out of the box, I got them for half price $60.

Not bad and I assume they are in pristine condition…

Sportsman's Warehouse

They won't allow me to be packing heat when I'm in their store.

Sure you can. Read the sign. Just keep your "heat" in a holster like any responsible person who carries one does.

That includes under threat. If you plan on having it for self defense you need to give it to customer service.

Denny's - Titabawasee Road in Saginaw. I ordered a hamburger rare, and the manager came out and started yelling at me, and nearly called the cops, just because I ordered it rare.

Is that true?

Read again. That applies only to UNHOLSTERED weapons.

The first part does. The second part says if you plan to remove it from the holster. So you could interpret that to mean no self defense. One could argue that if you are carrying it for that reason you plan to use it if necessary. That plan was the entire point of getting it in the first place. Take it to customer service. So YOU read again. You do not get to accept sentence 1 and ignore the entire existence of sentence 2.

Oh horseshit. Requiring firearms to remain holstered is sop at every single gun store in the state of michigan. Even those with shooting ranges on premise as well as those that have all their employees practicing open carry.

If you need to present a firearm to a sales representative it must be unloaded and in a case.

I'm reading what it says. It's impossible to remove the weapon from your side under ANY circumstances. So if you plan to be there point at the spot you want the bad guy with the gun to shoot you.

RT, you are 1000% wrong on this one and are coming off as a complete tool.

Nowhere does the posted policy state "It's impossible to remove the weapon from your side under ANY circumstances." You are completely making that up.

Not sure how you can misinterpret what the phrase "if you plan" means, but here we are. Good guys and gals that are legally carrying don't plan on upholstering in a store. They are (should be) prepared to do so, but it sure fire ain't the plan.

If I plan to unholster my gun if a bad guy with a gun shows up, then I'm bound by the rules.
