My daughters by from a local farmer, 2 bucks a dozen if you have cartons, 3 if you don't.
At least there’s a way to get them for 2 bucks. Although the carton is a Buck otherwise. Can’t win.
Kroger still has 18 eggs for $1.99 so long as you clip the digital coupon to load it to your shopper's card.
That coupon can still be redeemed today or tomorrow.
DTE Energy paid $752 million in dividends to its shareholders last fiscal year. Remember that the next time they ask the MPSC to approve rate hikes.

I wonder what the regular price on those is and if they have some equivalent bargain dozen priced cheap. At one point I want to say they had a cheap dozen down near a dollar.

White large dozen regular price is $2.89. Brown medium cage free dozen regular price is $2.99.
18 pack large white regular price is $4.29.
On occasion, they do run sales where their white large dozen is marked down to $0.99 with digital coupon, although no such promotion has occurred since the latest round of price increases for eggs.
Orange juice prices are grinding my gears at the moment. I was able to get a 2 pack of Simply Orange at Jalow Bob's (BJ's) for $7.00. Fuck Tropicana for shrinking their bottle size to 46 ounces. Even the damn Kroger brand OJ for not-from-concentrate is $4.29 now. Meijer is a bit more reasonable at $3.85.

Shrinkflation is a real problem. If the size of the product goes down so should the price.

This could have all been averted if those millions of chicks hadn't been anti vac against the bird flu vaccine.

Sorry RT, wasn't trying to offend you.
I'll give you a dozen, so 12=Free.
They seem to like laying in my window wells.
Go figger.

A free dozen eggs... and just like Denny's I'll sell them at $3 an egg.

Thanks to dopey overreaction to the port strike (and misinformation being spread via social media), there is now a run on toilet paper and paper towel.

I just put my order in for toilet paper on Amazon yesterday. We'll see if I get it. My guess is people are also panic buying due to possible unrest after the election.
They/them, non-binary and proud.

The right needs to stop worry about what’s between people’s legs. Instead, they should focus on what’s between their ears.

No TP, no paper towel, and no Kirkland bottled water left at the Bloomfield Costco. All brands of TP and paper towel were wiped out.
I went for bottled water because I was nearly out of it at home. Wound up buying some elsewhere.
They did have some great prices on men's coats, as they so often do. I even saw dress shirts there for the first time in a long time ($22.99 each).
Also, a new product in the meat department: 80/20 halal ground beef. They seem to have cut back on shelf space for their 85/15 organic grass fed ground beef to make room for the halal offering.
The steak prices fluctuate like a yo-yo there. USDA choice boneless NY strip is currently $10.99 a pound, which is a much better price than the last time I visited. I like the thickness of the steaks Costco sells.

The good news is the dockworkers union agreed to a strike moratorium until January 15 earlier today, so they are returning to work tonight or tomorrow.

Just before covid hit (my kid gave me a heads up in February) I started ordering commercial Scott TP and paper towel. I've never looked back. I gave it out as birthday presents that year. I order about once a year.

Ahhh, Scott, the finger poker througher.
I bought a large pack in 2020, used one roll.
Can't even use it as a snot rag.
