... so don't try!

Yes, the subject is the name of a Joe Walsh album.

It's also a line used in the following 'commercial' for New York Telephone that circulated decades ago. IIRC this was circulated on a tape that also included Kasey Casem AT40 outtakes and other things considered funny or outrageous at the time.

Ah, the days of generational copy audio loss.

Somehow I can't get the YouTube videos to work on my browser, but I'm sure I know what this is. Kermit Schafer had it on one of his Blooper albums. The recording itself was a sort of gag made by whoever produced the ad for personal enjoyment.

I recall another one on one of these records for Chesterfield Cigarettes as well.

Yep, the first link you posted is the same as the one I embedded.

In these days of anything goes, it seems pretty tame in comparison.

I'm sure it does, yet I still get a chuckle everytime I pull out this one...

Big Bill Hell's. Classic. You could just about air it verbatim nowdays, and make your dealership all nude sames staff! :D

Somehow, I ended up with a cart with "Lefty's Stolen Furniture" spoof on it, I think it was in a trashcan at the old WTRX facility when I was helping Don McComb there in the 90's. Lost the carts years ago, but I did manage to rip it first. I love these old spoof spots!

I confirm all my information through a high, white whore's souse!
